October 13, 2008. The Sundial: concert with Draconian in Ukraine and some more news!

Hi, everyone! Sorry for the long absence.

Well, this year, October 4th, The Sundial played together with Draconian (Sweden) on the concert in Rivne (Ukraine) and September 27th, 2008 - The Sundial has presented a new album 'Transition' in it's hometown Kaliningrad (Russia).

And!!! The new album of The Sundial - 'Transition' will be released in the USA and Canada at November 11th, 2008, at "Reneissance records" Label (USA)!!!

Hello!

In new 2008 year new album called “Transition” will come out that was recorded in October-November 2007 at Studio-X (Poland). Record session was going on under guidance of sound engineer Szymon Czech (ex-Prophecy guitar, NIYA guitar) who accepted to take place of session guitarist at period of recording. Famous in Poland, Marcin Kielbaszewski, sound engineer (orchestration) and studio owner, assisted too.

Album mastering at world-known Finnvox Studio by Minerva Pappi (mastering for Swallow The Sun, Vanity Beach, Hatecraft etc.) was a final step.

Hello Friends!

Interested in what has been happening in the Sundial camp? Here's the long-awaited update. Our new album, entitled "Transition" and set for 2008 release, is going to become an outcome of the more-than-one-year's silence. In November 2007 we'll head to Poland to enter a well-known metal studio and start writing the new material. One month of non-stop working and giving ourselves to the music. Guitar and bass will be played by session musicians from our native town, their names won't be announced as of yet though.

The artwork for our second LP will be available here and on our official Livejournal, Ultimate-Guitar, and MySpace pages very soon.

You can find photos from the band's latest photosession, as well as this year's only gig (as a direct support to Deadlock), on each of the named resouces. More stuff coming up soon!

We're finally done working on the album and are glad about it. You can purchase the album in a rock-shop Aqua in the city in april.
Meanwhile we're handing the discs to our friends, so don't be surprised if you hear our music out of sudden.
